18+ YEARS OF DESIGN EXPERIENCE
As a fire system designer, with experience gained across both Contractor and Consultant design environments, a wealth of knowledge of the do’s and don’ts in fire system design, we will look after your project from start to finish.
By setting an National Construction Code aligned, Standard fire strategy (AS 2118.1 sprinklers, AS 2419.1 hydrants, AS 1670.1 detection and alarms, AS 2941 pumps), locking in hazard classification, water supply strategy, adequate spatial allowances and access/maintenance, coordinating in BIM, and enforcing hold points and shop-drawing reviews, we eliminate classic redesign traps (non-compliant boosters, undersized pump rooms, unreachable valves, ceiling/soffit conflicts, hydraulic shortfalls), preventing costly rework through design development and construction and delivering predictable approvals, clean installation, fewer RFIs, safer buildings and in the end a cheaper installation.
PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS
At the core of my work is a commitment to providing tailored fire protection solutions that are not only cost-effective but also purpose-built and operationally efficient. Each system is designed with precision, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, while meeting the specific needs of every project.
Our approach is derived from detailed design, thorough code analysis, and a deep understanding of legislative requirements. This ensures that every solution delivered is robust, future-proof, and fully aligned with Australian Standards, BCA, and accounts for local building regulations/acts.

SCOPING AND CONSULTING
Effective scoping sets the foundation for success: we define objectives, deliverables, responsibilities, assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies up front, aligned to NCC and the relevant AS standards, so every stakeholder works from a single source of truth. Our consulting then turns that scope into action by clarifying risks and constraints, coordinating disciplines in BIM, and managing changes as variations to protect program, budget, and compliance.
DILAPIDATION REPORTS & SYSTEM ANALYSIS/FAULT FINDING.
Dilapidation reports establish a defensible baseline of existing conditions, photographic records, asset condition, and fire-system compliance risks, so liability is clear before works commence. Our system analysis and fault finding pinpoints root causes in sprinklers, hydrants, detection/alarms and pumps via hydraulic testing, data-logging and AS 1851/NCC reviews, delivering prioritised rectification actions and costed options.
FABRICATION LEVEL DESIGN
We convert approved concepts into fully coordinated, clash-free shop drawings and fabrication listings with industry-standard cut lengths, covering pipe sizes, cut lists, hanger/seismic brace layouts, penetration details, valve assemblies, and Bills of Materials, ready for procurement and workshop fabrication. Delivered in BIM (Revit/Navisworks) to minimise site rework, and compress install durations
Design in 2D/3D
By utilising the latest in 2D and 3D design methodologies, we specialise in getting your design right the first time.
3D BIM Coordination and Federated Model Services
- Collaborate with architects, and other MEP Consultants.
- Conduct Federated Model Reviews, and Clash Detection in Real time with other project collaborators
- Set a firm line in the sand between Design Phase, and Construction Phase, with accountability of all services for any site based coordination needs.
